Welcome to the Commonwealth of PR and to the 1st Latin American Pharmacogenomics Congress to be held from May 12 – 14th in San Juan PR.  This three-day meeting with 7 sessions, including discussions that would lead to a publication includes the participation of FDA, NIH, academic and pharmaceutical industry scientists and clinicians.

The 1st Latin American Pharmacogenomics Congress reflects a distinctive collaboration between the FDA, PR’s INDUNIV Research Consortium, the Golden Helix Institute of Biomedical Research in Europe and PGENI at UNC.  This alliance presents an exceptional opportunity for the discussion of scientific and clinical issues in the development of pharmacogenomic markers for Latin American populations and their value to healthcare through personalized medicine.

As the program becomes finalized, new information will be available on this site for review and download.

You may also visit the website with respect to information dealing with travel and hotel reservation, registration, Visa information for non USA visitors and the opportunity to do tourism while in PR.
